About the Role
The Managing Director will provide overall strategic leadership to the organisation, working closely with the Board and management team to drive our mission, organisational performance, financial sustainability, and long-term development.
We are looking for an experienced, values-led leader who can empower managers, build strong relationships, make sound data informed strategic decisions, speak from the heart about our mission, and balance our social and environmental mission with the need for a sustainable, well-managed organisation.
Requirements
The Managing Director is accountable for Thrift for Good’s overall organisational performance, financial sustainability, strategic delivery and impact. The MD is not only the spokesperson for the organization, but converts the Board-approved strategy into annual priorities and leads the Management Team to deliver them. As the heart of our mission and success, the role provides data driven and strategic organisation-wide direction, entrepreneurial spirit, cross-functional problem solving, and creates the conditions for leaders to manage their functions effectively.
